S is for Sea Monster and Y is for Yak, part of the second Alphabet series that I will have at the Lincoln Arts Festival this weekend.
The Rabbit Hearted Girl and Diver, two new pieces for my show The Rabbit Hearted Girl at Screen Ink in NEXT weekend.
In getting ready for this October show, i got a lot of inspiration from the music I was listening to - 4 of the pieces are based directly on music or lyrics. The Rabbit Hearted Girl that you can see above is based on this song by Florence + The Machine.
Expanding on this theme, I am thinking of basing my upcoming solo show in March (at Gallery 9) completely around lyrics to favorite songs.
