Lincoln Arts Festival and Shop Update

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Lincoln Arts Festival this weekend! It was great seeing old friends and meeting new ones. And thank you to the Lincoln Arts Council for the "Best of Nebraska" award and for all their hard work putting this festival together. :)

Now that the festival is over, all the new goodies I made for it are now in my etsy shop! This includes a bunch of new giclee prints, jewelry, and even some original art.

Taking a little art break tonight to see The Punch Brothers (yay!) and then back to work on a bunch of really exciting group show pieces. Hoping to find some time this weekend to get back into Destiny and maybe try out Minecraft.

SEPTEMBER FAVORITES
If you are a child of the 80s (or even if you just appreciate the adventure films from the 80s) and aren't offended by over-the-top gore (think early Peter Jackson) then I highly recommend you seek out the film TURBO KID. I really enjoyed it and have been listening to the exquisite synth-tastic score by LE MATOS all weekend.

Also, I had a fun time watching the first three seasons of MISS FISHER'S MURDER MYSTERIES while I was working. It's a "murder of the week" show set in 1920s Melbourne with a lady detective and her posse of friends solving mysteries and getting into mischief.
